A four-week experience designed to reconnect you to your body and rediscover its creative potential through movement and dance.

Together we will move through 4 themes: grounding, touch, qualities and space. Each will open up new possibilities for self-discovery. Every week we will dive deeper into these themes - exploring them through mind and body - in guided movement sessions led by dance artist Anna-Lise Marie Hearn and conversational coaching facilitated by Flavia Deuchler, founder of Ora Collective.

This is a deeply immersive and personal experience shared collectively within a supportive group setting. From the comfort of our own homes, we will dance, explore, play and connect with our bodies, opening up space for curiosity, creativity and presence. You can expect a safe, supportive and energising environment where you can explore personal creative expression through movement and experience being in your body in ways you never have before.

There will be an email sent to participants every Saturday to explore the weekly theme and journaling prompts. On Wednesdays, we will come together and be guided through a 1 hour live movement improvisation session with Anna-Lise, followed by a 30 minute group share with Flavia.

No previous experience is required for this home retreat. Sessions can be adapted to the nature and needs of the group, so please inform us of any injuries, physical impairment or disability.

Anna-Lise Hearn (she/her)

Anna-Lise Hearn is a dance and movement specialist and artist. She works across the dance sector as a choreographer, movement director, dance educator, and artist coach.

Anna-Lise works with dance and movement to find a textural, emotive language that can express felt sensations, embodiment, and physical relatability. Her artistic practice explores the intertwining of physical and emotional expressions of being, seeing the body as a vessel for our life’s experience. Movement improvisation is an important element in her creative processes and in her teaching, as it fosters an approach that promotes generosity and deeper research, allowing for spontaneity and visceral, bodily reactions to the material she is working with.

Anna-Lise has the wonderful gift of creating a safe space wherever she goes. I don’t think the vulnerability and depth reached in this programme would have been possible without
